In 1955 a womanhood named Rosa Parks took a stand on a public bus in Montgomery Alabama. She refused to give her tramp to a white man and was arrested for not doing so. She was scared of the secernment of the Jim Crow laws. Jim Crow laws were laws were intended to keep blacks from mixing with whites. IN the Jim Crow laws blacks were required to give thier stubs to whites if there were no more seats.
